Since 1996, DMH has grown from general blacksmithing into metalwork, secondary steelwork, stainless steel and civil engineering. Contracts have been successfully completed in construction, telecoms, oil and public works sectors up to a value of £½ million.

Nairn Swimming Pool Disabled Track Support

DMH Ltd has recently been involved in the refurbishment of Nairn Swimming Pool. Working for George Morrison builders, we installed a system of support steelwork for a disabled access system, to allow wheelchair users to access the pool. The system consisted of a trackway support beam, which was fully galvansied and suspended from the original timber roof structure above by adjustable wire ropes.
This presented many challenges as the system had several changes in direction and had to maintain a constant level throughout, regardless of the height of the roof structure above. It also required to be assembled and erected in-situ, above the swimming pool itself, which was kept full throughout.
